In-house, drawn-up metrics have proven to be an effective way to get investors to say yes to an ask that you’re making. Meeting those metrics not only generates interest in your product but it also emphasizes the value that it has for potential investors.

Courtney Williams of Emagine Solutions Technology has learned through the course of her career that ticking off metric boxes, getting everyone on board in fulfilling promises, and establishing a relationship that opens up better conversations in the future is crucial not just in making an ask successful but in creating a brand that can be trusted.

In this week’s episode of What’s Your Ask?, host Stephanie Sims talks to Courtney about why certain asks are harder than others, the importance of metrics and milestones in formulating your ask, and the internal process of making technical asks result in fulfilled promises.
